Missions
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Awana Clubs International
Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana establishes welcoming, supportive environments where kids, from every background and cultural setting, learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives. More than 2.3 million kids in more than 100 countries are reached by Awana every week.
El Amor de Cristo Iglesia
Pastor Pascual Ramos and Gabi
The El Amor de Cristo Church is located in Ciudad Constitución, a small town of about 41,000 people, located on the Baja peninsula of Mexico about 125 miles north of La Paz.
About 90 people attend the church and are involved in various ministries with youth, children, men and women. There is a strong emphasis on reaching out to their community and sharing the Gospel. The church celebrated its 15th anniversary in November.

Since 1991, Life Services Spokane has been a Christ-centered organization that is dedicated to the sanctity of life at conception. We offer hope, truth, medical care, and support from a Biblical perspective to anyone impacted by an unplanned pregnancy, empowering them to choose life and encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a 501(c)(3), Life Services receives no government funding and is fully funded by individuals and businesses.
New Hope Resource Center
The New Hope Resource Center is a faith-based ecumenical social service organization. We are supported by local churches and by generous community contributions.

Our mission is to serve basic human needs in North Spokane County including the communities of Riverside, Elk, Chattaroy, Colbert, and Mead. We do this without prejudice or discrimination, following Christ’s example.

Greg and Laura helped plant two churches among the Waxe people group of Papua New Guinea and have just completed translating the New Testament. The Waxe churches continue to grow under the leadership of local elders and deacons and Greg provides discipleship and support for the church leaders. Greg and Laura work on an itinerant basis out of Colorado Springs. Greg also serves as an International Translation Consultant for New Tribes Mission, traveling to other countries, checking translations in preparation for their printing.
North County Food Pantry
The North County Food Pantry distributes food and is a “gathering place”; a place of support and encouragement to the community, serving in Christ’s name.

A melting pot of kindness, distributing food and resources to our neighbors in need in north Spokane County since 1984. Over 45 wonderful volunteers work together behind the scenes each week here along with many organizations, companies, schools, churches and clubs that turn out to donate, fund raise and collect items for the Pantry on a regular basis also. We have a loving and generous community to be thankful for.

Serving Ministers of Christ

As a foreign mission we are committed to the call of Ephesians 4:12: “… to prepare God’s people for the works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature ….”

Our primary objective is to provide rural indigenous leaders with Bible training by means of video classes, for the maturity and expansion of the local church. We believe that Biblically mature indigenous Christians make the best evangelists.

To this end, our missionaries seek out tiny churches in remote Chilean villages, cut off from other Christians and who lack access to any sort of training.

By providing personal visitation, encouragement, prayer, and the free rotation of a wide variety of training materials, our missionaries support the local church’s calling, discipleship, and vision.
Spokane County Jail Ministry
The jail ministry began in 1977 with the goal of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are incarcerated and extends to their families. Roger and Sonny, and about 20 volunteers, minister to around 650 inmates and their families. Each year more than 25,000 new inmates are admitted and approximately 1,500 make decisions for Christ.

At the request of the Sheriff, Roger and Sonny are also operating the Chaplain’s program at the Geiger Correctional Center. This adds about 400-500 inmates to the ministry. Between the two centers, they are now conducting services from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sundays.
A large part of this ministry is Bible distribution. The work impacts not only the inmates, but officers as well.

Our mission is to help impoverished women heal and overcome critical employment and life challenges such as felonies and reentry into society, lack of job experience, prostitution, human trafficking, physical, sexual and mental abuse, addiction, untreated mental health issues and more. We envision a community where no woman or her children who rely on her for survival, lives in poverty due to lack of skills, abusive relationships, or reliance on government assistance or unhealthy substances. Our program increases family stabilization, grows personal and community economic assets, and builds strong leaders who impact future generations.
Tyndale Bible Translators
Rich & Joyce Mattocks

Tyndale Bible Translation Team Advisors for the Kamano-Kafe people in Papua New Guinea.
Ministry: Bible translation, audio Scripture and music recordings, video recordings (the Jesus Video, “The Hope”, Acts, and Genesis are now in the Kamano-Kafe language), along with hymn books, many literacy booklets and tracts containing pertinent Bible verses on topics like God’s protection from sorcery, AIDS and family budgeting. Most of the Kamano-Kafe people we serve still live as their ancestors did, gardening sweet potatoes on steep hillsides, and living in woven bamboo, grass-roofed houses. The majority of the people still fear spirits.

Founded on the gospel
It’s our middle name. The good news that Jesus came to conquer sin and death is at the core of everything we do. Why? Because only God can truly change a life. We can feed people, house them, provide tutoring and job training, but we cannot change a heart or set someone free from the weight of sin and shame. The best thing we can do for someone walking through our doors is to introduce them to Jesus Christ.
Elinor Young - World Team
Elinor Young was nine years old when she first heard God’s whisper about being a missionary. The idea of being a missionary seemed like an impossibility due to her fight with Polio at the age of 5 which left her body profoundly weakened. Nevertheless, in 1975 Elinor began work with the Kimyal tribe at Korupun, Papua, Indonesia. She spent the next 17 years with the Kimyal, focused on linguistic and translation work. In 1991, with just 1/3 of the New Testament translation completed, Elinor developed Post Polio Syndrome and could no longer continue to work in such a rugged environment. It was then that she returned to her home in Washington State. Though retired due to disability, Elinor is still an active member of World Team. She keeps herself busy as the editor of “Great Commission Kids,” and various speaking engagements. Her desire is to help people catch God’s heart for the world. In March 2010, Elinor returned to Korupun to attend the dedication of the Kimyal New Testament. What a joy! But, she says, “I am just as content to be here, now, fulfilling the role God has for me in this chapter of my life.”
